My Sweet Ladies, What a weekend! I've still not recovered. The truth is, I don't really intend to recover. For those of you who were not able to be there, don't worry, a full - and I mean FULL - carry over is coming your way! What has been on my mind this morning are two scriptures in the Revelation relating to kings. Imagine that. The first one is Revelation 19:16 "and on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS". I want us to think on this in the context of His kingdom, which I believe, is the concentration of the entire book. Keep in mind the kings of the earth as we now know them will not exist in His eternal kingdom. Not that He doesn't have complete authority over them but here they can not be His kings or His lords as this is not a temporary statement. Notice also, that in this particular scripture, "KINGS AND LORDS" are in capital letters. This should be just as significant to us as God and god are. The 2nd scripture is Revelation 21: 24-27. I'm not going to quote it but I do want to bring our attention to a couple of things. In verse 24 it says, as an on going description of the new Jerusalem, "and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it." It goes on to say in verse 27 that "only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life" will "ever come into it." I will dare to say that this is referring to you and me. We are to be joint heirs, joint priests and joint rulers with Christ Jesus. I believe we need to stop seeing ourselves as His children, even though we will always be that. I also think that we can lavish as the bride longer than necessary. As the Father raises up the church and purifies the bride of His Son, we need to know and understand what His goal for us is. We need to intimately know our King and how He brings into fruition His heart for His kingdom. We need to apprentice ourselves to Jesus. He will only crown rulers who can represent Him fully. (not to be mistaken with perfectly) If you weren't at church yesterday we had a robing. We'll talk about that later Love to all you shining stars of God
