I know that there is no way that we normally associate NASCAR with a devotional, but if you know me,you know there is not one thing normal about me...haha

NASCAR is a sport that takes so much knowledge and skill...top physical fitness...technological savvy...rapports with all your crew members and an intimate knowledge of every detail of the car you are driving...you have a goal and that is to win. You are a core player in this sport...many depend on you and you depend on many. If you lose one race or two there is still hope to finish in the points standing or the best of the best...but when you have lost many, many races, there is no hope for restoration.

Not so, in the simple everyday plan of life...races in life leave us with many dents and dings and sometimes total destruction and no hope of restoration...every blemish seems to be magnified in duplicate...everything that everyone can see so clearly.

But, there is a hope in our frail lives of dent, dings and even destruction, that puts a whole new spin on life...restoration...Jesus came to give life...ABUNDANTLY...life , even when we go around and around that issue until we hit the wall...He is there to restore...when the biggest blow out happens...He is there to restore...when we lose it all...He is there to restore...when the very core of our life hit the fan...He is there to restore...He does it all, in love and adoration for us, because He loves to us, beyond anything we can imagine...His love beats NASCAR and anything else this world can offer...but His restoration, keeps us on the right track and into the winners circle.
