Is What I Believe The Truth?

I can’t get what that man said on the video a couple of Wednesday nights out of my head.
He was saying there was no God and no free will and if he was wrong he would rather spend
eternity in hell than listening to boring preachers in heaven. Wow does he have it all wrong!

Then I had to ask myself “is what I believe the truth or a lie?” Satan likes to fill us with half truths. Even from the beginning Satan was telling us, (half the truth) = a lie.

 In Genesis 3:1 he tells Eve; "Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

But what did God really say?
 In Genesis 2:16-17,
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”
He (Satan) just flipped it around, I had to read it a couple of times to see. How about you?


Are you believing the half truth or the whole truth and nothing but the truth?


There’s only one way to find out. We must read our Bible on a daily basis. I know it’s hard for some to do, I’m a person who dislikes reading, but it’s worth it. All the time I’m discovering something new in the Bible. It was always been there but the Spirit opened my eyes this time to see something a new. Let us be like Jesus when Satan tried to tempt Him in the desert Jesus quoted the scripture right back to him. (Luke 4:1-13.)


Jesus, help me to move what the Bible says from my mind to my heart!
