One Heart Devotionals

An atheist woman’s daughter was in a terrible accident.  She was not expected to live.  After the mother went home from the hospital she sat in her car and cried and screamed and cursed.  Then she began to curse God.  When she was through she heard a voice say, “That is the first time you have talked to me.” 
God so desperately desires us to talk to him.  His desire towards us is companionship.  He wants us to talk with him about anything and everything.  God wants to spend time with us and get to know us. He wants to talk to us and reveal himself to us.  He wants us to get to know Him. 
You know the desire that you have to have a deep relationship with your significant other?  You also know that deep desire you have to spend time with your children and really get to know them?  Those desires we all experience.  Do you know why we each share those desires?  It is because we are all made in God’s image and those are His desires towards us.
