Tis' The Season

For giving and getting gifts for all the good girls and boys. Did you ever get worried you were too bad this past year to get any gifts? That maybe you would get a lump of coal? Then here comes Christmas morning and you see a full stocking and the gifts under the tree. I remember one year I got a bike. It was a gift I did not ask for, it was a surprise, just like Jesus, the best gift I did not ask for or deserve. He knows me better then I know myself and He still loves me and you. There is no way I could be good enough, but His gift is free. His gift is here for me every morning;


22The LORD'S loving kindnesses indeed never cease,
         For His compassions never fail.
    23They are new every morning;
         Great is Your faithfulness.
    24"The LORD is my portion," says my soul,
         "Therefore I have hope in Him."

No matter what is in the stocking or under the tree Jesus is in my heart. He brings me hope. Thank You Jesus.
